Man arrested after CS spray found in Heathrow evacuation

A man was arrested for having CS gas and causing a public distress following the partial evacuation of Heathrow airport on Monday night.

Hundreds of people had to leave the Terminal 4 at 17:00 on Monday.

There was no dangerous substance, but the metropolitan police discovered a box of CS spray and the London ambulance service treated 20 people for “irritation”.

Scotland Yard said that the incident was not treated with terrorism and that the 57 -year -old suspect was in custody.
