Xander Schauffele to miss Ryder Cup tune-up after birth of son

Xander Schauffele will not participate in the Procore Championship with Ryder Cup teammates for a good reason: with his newborn son.

California native did not see the same success this season. Schauffele missed a few months with a rib injury at the beginning of the season.
He made 71 deductions in a row, but he continued his line of missing a 36 -hole section because he did not win a tournament this season. Schauffele was in the top 10 in two of the four main branches this season – the masters and open – but not in the top five.
Thanks to his success in 2024, Schauffele was automatically qualified for the US Ryder Cup team. He will play in Ryder Cup for the third time.
US RYDER Cup Member Xander Schauffele: How much did he earn in his career?
Schauffele and Bryson Dechambeau are the only two members of the United States Ryder Cup team who did not participate in the Procore championship. Dechambeau doesn’t participate because he’s not a PGA tour member.
Schauffele said last month that the AP was not sure of playing in Napa, California, mainly when the baby would be born and that he should take a break from torment.
He said at the BMW championship, “If I don’t think it would help me, I won’t play.”
The Ryder Cup begins on 26 September when the US will try to take revenge on the European team for the loss of 2023 in Bethpage Black.
