Bali floods: Perth woman Kim Eastough speaks on fears for safety amid ‘muddy’ floodwaters in Legian

A Perth woman living in Bali was caught in deadly floods that killed at least six people on the holiday island.
The heavy rains between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning lowered two buildings in Denpasar, Bali’s capital, and killed four people and lost their lives in the Jembrana area, according to Reuters.
According to local reports, one of the dead people is a 23 -year -old woman.
Kim Eastough, who lives in a villa in a villa in the north of Denpasar’s Kuta’s Kuta, told how his house was hit by “heavy rain” and flooding overnight.
Ms. Eastough said that a nearby river overflowed and caused the “muddy” water to fill the accommodation complex and cover the ground and backyard.
“The water goes down and I can see all the mud and everything on the floor of the villa,” he said.

“I have a pool and I’m worried .. I don’t want to fall into the pool because I can’t see the pool.”
