Labor tight-lipped as Pacific neighbour warns region ‘already at war with China’

One of the Pacific neighbors of Australia is strictly strictly after warning that the region is in the war with China.
Palauan President Surrangel Whipps said in a statement on Wednesday that a leading Chinese Shah, Beijing, “No remaining an investor in our private sector,” he said.
Uz We should help our people understand because of our position, we are under constant threats, ”he said.
“I can try to say that we are already in war.
“And the best way to struggle with it is partnership with similar countries who believe that peace comes from power and existence.”
Mr. Whipps made statements in Hawaii before going to the Pacific Islands Forum on the Solomon Islands, where Anthony Arbanese attended.
The Prime Minister clearly rejected to respond to comments at a press conference on the Solomon Islands, but on Thursday, he asked if he asked if he had accepted that he was “in war with China”.
Prime Minister Richard Marles said, “I probably wouldn’t use this language, but what we’ve seen is more competition than we’ve seen in the Pacific than before,” he said.
“And from our perspective, we want to be the preferred security partner for Pacific countries, and we put a lot of work to see this happens.
“I think we are the preferred natural security partner and we see raised relationships throughout the Pacific.”
He suppressed that China could be the best way in Australia’s regional impact war, and admitted that it was not challenged.
Uz We live in a difficult world, Mr Mr. Marles said.
“And from the moment we came to power, the strategic landscape we encountered today is compelling since the end of World War II.”
More will come.
