Assam military garrison hoists tallest Tricolour in northeast

The center of the 4 Corps, also known as the Gajraj Corps, is now doing the highest flagpole for the three -color in the northeast region.
The National Flag with a pole of 108 meters was opened on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the Tezpur military garrison in North-Central Assem’s Sonitpur region.
Lieutenant General Gambhir Singh, who addressed the flag hoistine ceremony, soldiers, students and NCC students, attended the Gajraj Corps Commander, who called them to discipline, service and great dreams for a strong and productive country.
Among the others participating in the event were Vice President of Tezpur University, State Government officials, central armed police forces and more than 250 calm, teachers and school children.
Major General (retired) ASEEM KOHLİ from the Indian Flag Foundation appreciated the attempt. “The foundation aims to use the national flag as a symbol of unity, power, national pride and patriotism in all segments of society,” he said.
