Kulman Ghising, an engineer who admired the public to end Nepal’s for many years of crippled power cuts, appeared as the best choice for the temporary prime minister after the resignation of KP Sharma Oli in the midst of unrest.
Ghising, an educated electrical engineer, is crediting with many years of serious shortages of power in Nepal. In 1994, he started to work at the Nepal Electrical Authority (NEA) and steadily rose through the organization. In 2016, Ghising, appointed as the General Manager of Nea, became a home name to eliminate daily power cuts that once lasting up to 18 hours. Although he was abolished in 2020, he was re -appointed in 2021.

Nepal Gene Z Protest: 31 dead, more than 1000 injured
According to Kathmandu Post, at least 31 people have died in Kathmandu since the protests broke out. Authorities confirmed that 25 victims have been identified so far, six of them remained unidentified. More than 1,000 people were injured during unrest.
