Miss Palestine to Compete on Global Stage

Dubai: The first Palestinian Nadeen Ayoubrek competing in Miss Universe will appear on the stage at the summit of one of the most sad periods in history, determined to show more than the titles of the war.
“We are more than our struggle and pain,” the AFP in Dubai was preparing to raise the Palestinian flag in the Pageant in Thailand in November.
The Israeli-Hamas war, which killed tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, said, “Our people need a voice right now and we don’t want our identity to be erased.”
While intensifying the Israeli attack, the United Nations caused famine in the city of Gaza and what it called widespread destruction in the region, while Ayouban said that he wanted to exhibit the rich legacy and beauty of his homeland, and reduced a person to his pain.
Palestinians also said, “Children who want to live, women with dreams and longing”, the fair face of a long dark brown hair framed by the beauty queen said.
‘A Voice’
Ayoub lives between Ramallah, Amman and Dubai – where he established an organization that trained content creators in sustainability and artificial intelligence.
The occupied West Bank grew up in the USA and Canada. After gaining degrees in English literature and psychology, he continued to teach and work for NGOs in occupied regions.
“My family both academics and always told me to focus on my university.” He said.
However, after a fashion show in Italy, people working in the industry encouraged him to compete in beauty contests, so a female Palestinian franchise launched.
“(Mrs. Palestine) is as simple as having an organization,” although it is given in other countries.
Part of the difficulty, the division of Palestinians between the occupied West Bank, the annexation of the siege Gaza and East Jerusalem, many in neighboring countries, abroad or Israel.
Although it is recognized by the vast majority of countries, some countries do not recognize a Palestinian state and make a challenge for people like Ayoub to represent a world stage.
“I will represent a country, a nation, a real country.”
Western disappointment about Israel’s behavior in Gaza pushed many countries, including England and France to say that they would recognize Palestinian state this month.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that “there will be no Palestinian state” this week, and last month, Israel approved a large West Bank settlement, which the international community warned that a state threatens the applicability of such a state.
‘Talk about Palestine’
In 2022, the first female Palestinian competition was online to allow Palestinians to participate in their participation in abroad, Israel and regions.
Ayoub, the first winner of the title, worked on the philanthropy activities of the organization and competed in 2022 in Miss Earth, a contestant who thinks environmentally.
However, since the Gaza War exploded in October 2023 – most civilians did not participate in any beauty contest, which was triggered by a Hamas attack on Israel.
According to the figures that the United Nations in Gaza, ruled by Hamas, thought that the United Nations were reliable, Israel’s retaliation attack also killed at least 64,756 Palestinians.
Ayoub said he would have the opportunity to talk for his people.
“We must be on every international stage. Every opportunity we need to talk about Palestine, we must take it to show Palestine,” he said.
