PM Modi Sends Message Of Friendship To Nepal From Manipur, says Connected By Shared History

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Sushila Carki for being the first female prime minister of Nepal on Saturday and confirmed India’s strong ties with Nepal.
While the Prime Minister addressed a public meeting in Imphal, he praised Nepal’s democratic values and the flexibility of his people. Modi, who sent a friendship message to Nepal, called Nepal as India’s “close friend ve and said that the two countries were linked to“ common history and belief ”.
