Sushila Karki Announces Compensation For People Who Died In Nepal Protest; Declares Them ‘Martyrs’ | World News

Sushila Carki, who served as Nepal’s temporary prime minister on Sunday, announced that those who lost their lives during the fight against corruption in the country will be known as ‘martyrs’. In addition, 1 million Nepal Rupi announced the amount of compensation for the families of the dead.
The announcement of the compensation was made during the statements because it undertook the duties of Carki’s temporary PM.
During the press conference, he said that all that died on September 8 would be known as ‘martyrs’ and each one would be given one million Nepalli rupees. In addition, wounded costs will be covered by the government and compensated at the same time.
