46 -year -old British former world boxing champion Ricky Hatton was found dead in his house.
Hatton, known as Hitman throughout his career, was one of the most well -known British fighters of his generation and won various world titles.
He retired in 2012 and continued to speak clearly about depression and struggles with alcohol.
Hatton, who lives in Hyde, Hyde, made plans for another return with an exhibition fight in Dubai because it took place in December.
The Great Manchester Police (GMP) said there was a body at an address in Hyde on Sunday morning. Guardian understands it is the body of the old boxer.
A GMP spokesman said: “Officials, a member of the people, found the body of a 46 -year -old man at 6.45 at 6.45 hours Bowlacre Road, Hyde, Tameide was called. Currently, there were no suspicious conditions.”
Only days ago, Hatton had published videos in the gym for a clear preparation for a return struggle within two months.

“As warriors, we say that we are strong – we train, sweat, take hit, get up. But sometimes the most difficult struggle is quietly, in the mind,” he said.
“Mental health is not weakness. This is a part of being a human. And we should talk about it. We have to reach each other.”
