Odisha attracted investment of ₹5.6 lakh crore, created 1.64 lakh jobs in 15 months, says CM

Odisha Prime Minister Mohan Majhi said that on Monday, September 15, 2025, the government approved 260 industrial projects and has been investing in the state worth 5.6 Lakh Crore with the potential to produce 3.6 lakh business since the last 15 months.
Majhi said, “During this time, 84 projects were laid for 84 projects, which constitute more than 2 lakh crore investments alone and the creation of 1.64 lakh business alone, Maj said Majhi, putting cornerstones for almost 27 industrial projects for 27 industrial projects in 12 regions on Monday, September 15, 2025.
According to the state government, 27 projects contained more than 25,000 Crore investments and will create reliable employment opportunities for more than 52,000 young people.
Majhi, every new investment in Odisha reflects the increasing confidence of industrial houses in the state.
The state said it focuses on attracting investments in the production of high -valuable products aimed at making Odisha a production center of East India.
“Odisha constantly increases the production value chain and creates products that can compete in global markets, Maji said Majhi.
State Industry Minister Sampad Chandra Swain said that an efficient governance and an industrial -friendly environment has created Odisha as a leading state with enormous industrial potential.
