A ‘wanted’ Aussie man has been shot by police in Townsville

Allegedly was shot by a police in Townsville, a “sought” man.
Police reported that a man in his 20s was walking along the Carthew ST at Thushowa Central at 15.16 in the afternoon on Sunday.
A Queensland police spokesman claimed that the man was “wanted” in a statement.
The police soon came to the scene and an officer was discharged from the firearms.
Medical assistance was given to the man immediately after.
Townsville University Hospital was treated by medical staff.
A Queensland police spokesman confirmed that there was no ongoing threat to the public.
Everyone who has knowledge, including Dashcam images, was asked to come to the fore.
The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the surveillance from the Crime and Corruption Commission.
