Teenage boy arrested after fatal stabbing of man at Ronald Rd home in Taree

A teenage boy has been arrested in Taree two days after a 36-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a house in Ronald Road.
Emergency services were called to the home shortly before 5am on Monday after reports a man had been stabbed.
Officers from the Manning/Great Lakes Police District arrived to find the 36-year-old man seriously injured.
Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man but he died at the scene.
A murder investigation was launched and two crime scenes were established in Ronald Road, including the home and another nearby location, with specialist forensic officers examining both areas.
Manning/Great Lakes Police Area Commander Inspector Grant Erickson said witnesses came forward and were interviewed earlier in the week.
Following investigation, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy at an address in Taree at around 2.55pm on Wednesday and he was taken to Taree Police Station.
No charges were made.
