Unidentified man found dead in in 2003 likely from Grenada

Investigators are appealing for help identifying a man – now believed to be from Grenada – who was found dead in a park in Rexdale more than 22 years ago.

Toronto Police say the man was found in Humberwoods Park, near Hwy. 427 and Rexdale Blvd., on May 22, 2003.

According to the RCMP’s Canada’s Missing webpagethe man was found “beneath an overturned picnic table that he may have been using for shelter.”
He is described as Black, about 5-foot-1 and 120 pounds, with brown eyes and hair that was turning grey and balding, and multiple teeth missing with only one tooth remaining in his lower jaw.
Found within the vicinity of his body was a right black leather-type boot, a black sock, a white baseball hat, a green winter jacket, a navy-coloured winter jacket, a black long-sleeved shirt, a black belt and an empty bottle of Listerine mouthwash.
