ACB Files Chargesheet in Formula E Case; KTR Named A1 Over ₹55 Crore Irregularities

Hyderabad: In a major turning point in the Hyderabad Formula E auto racing controversy, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has officially filed a charge sheet.

The investigating agency has identified former minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) as Accused No. 1 (A1) in the case. The chargesheet also states that senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar is A2, former Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer BLN Reddy is A3 and sports consultant Kiran Malleswara Rao is A4. In addition, Formula E Operations (FEO), a UK-based organization, was also named A5.

According to ACB’s findings detailed in the criminal complaint, Rs 55 million was illegally transferred to the foreign entity in strict violation of established rules and procedures.
