ACB Traps Forest Officials in Kothagudem Over ₹3.51 Lakh Bribe

– Kothagudem: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday trapped forest officials in Kothagudem district and accepted bribes worth ₹3.51 lakh. Plantation Manager Thadi Rajender and a private individual, Chennam Gopala Krishna, were caught red-handed for allegedly taking bribes to pay eucalyptus cutting bills amounting to around 3,900 tonnes.
The bribe was reportedly accepted on behalf of Telangana Forest Development Corporation Limited (TFDCL) Divisional Manager Thati Sravani, who is now at large.
ACB officials arrested Rajender and the private and said further investigation was on to trace the absconding official and investigate the incident in detail.
