Putin cautions Germany over any Taurus missile supplies to Ukraine

St Petersburg, Russia (Reuters) -Rusia President Vladimir Putin warned Germany to think that Moscow was directly involved in the war in Ukraine if Berlin supplies Kiev with Toros Cruise missiles, but he said he was ready to talk to Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said he did not intend to deliver the Taurus Cruise missiles with a range of 300 miles (480 km) to Ukraine despite the repeated demands of Kiev at the beginning of this month.

Putin said he would need Western satellite intelligence and German officers to look at the targeting of German officers who hit the Russian territory if Ukraine fired to Russia to expel bull missiles.

“If the Federal Republic does not participate in a direct armed conflict with the Russian Federation of the Federal Republic, it cannot be called anything else.” He said.

Putin added that even if Germany supplies missiles, the war will have no effect on the final course and that Russian troops are moving in all directions.

He was asked whether he was willing to talk to Merz, a fluid German speaker serving as a KGB spy in ancient East Germany.

“If he wants to call and talk about the Federal Chancellor, I said this many times – we don’t give up any contact. And we’re always open to it.” He said.

Putin, when it comes to the war in Ukraine, given the presence of German tanks on the battlefield of Germany, he added that Germany did not think that it is an neutral mediator.

“The Federal Republic, like many other European countries, is not like an impartial state, but as a party that supports Ukraine, and in some cases perhaps as a partners in these hostilities.” He said.
