Leicester City has chosen former Queens Park Rangers head coach Marti Cifuentes as a new manager for a three -year agreement.

The 43 -year -old Spanish replaced Ruud van Nistelrooy in Foxes’ rudder for less than a month until the season began.

Cifuentes, in 2024 as the second -stage championship winners under Enzo Maresca, after the Premier League immediately fell in the championship in the championship, he takes responsibility for a Leicester side.

Cifuentes joins Maresca, who left Leicester after the introduction to start work at Chelsea, as one of the six permanent executives in which foxes have for more than two years.

Just as the Italians were assigned to return the East Midlands Club to the best flight during the term of office of the Italians, Cifuentes’s promotion will be expected.

In time in QPR, Spanish controlled the surfaces of 18th and 15th.

Leicester thinks that Spanish will bring a “modern, progressive football philosophy” to the club, while President Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha says Cifuentes is “perfect harmony”.

“We have strongly felt that bringing him to the club will help us to create the success of all of us in the coming years,” Srivaddhanaprabha said.

When Cifuentes took second place in the championship in October 2023, he took responsibility for QPR, and the fleeing fall was first requested at Loftus Road.
