‘Act of aggression’: India condemns Pakistan’s air strikes in Afghanistan

Afghan officials confirmed on Saturday that several civilians were killed in Pakistani air strikes on Friday in Kabul, Kandahar, Pktika and Paktia provinces.
Responding to media queries on Pakistan’s recent attacks on Afghanistan, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “India condemns Pakistan’s airstrikes on Afghan territory, which have led to the death of large numbers of civilians and destruction of civilian infrastructure. This is yet another aggressive act by the Pakistani establishment, which is hostile to the idea of a sovereign Afghanistan.” he said.
“India reiterates that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan must be fully respected,” the statement said.
