Action on Those Who Leaked PM Meet Details: BJP

Hyderabad:Union minister G. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday branded party MPs from Telangana “crazy people” for leaking details of their recent talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite clear instructions to maintain confidentiality. He promised that the party would take stringent action against criminals.
During an informal interaction after a press conference on sports ministry initiatives, Kishan Reddy revealed that Modi had appealed to state MPs not to reveal the content of the discussions. “Even after this, some madmen leaked this to the media. If the party detects them, strict sanctions will be imposed,” he said.
The meeting took place last week during the Winter Session of Parliament, when Modi met MPs from the BJP’s southern states, including eight from Telangana. Reports have indicated that Modi has expressed strong displeasure with his performances and inadequate support on public issues on social media, which contrasts sharply with AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s proactive digital presence.
Kishan Reddy highlighted that the party has elevated two southern leaders to Vice President posts and pointed out Modi’s directive to MPs to increase social media activities amid Telangana’s positive political climate. “BJP is the only party where an ordinary worker can rise to the presidency,” he added.
He also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s “vote” remarks against Modi at a rally, calling them immature and unbecoming of a national opposition figure lacking basic political acumen.
Kishan Reddy said he met Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to review projects, including reconstruction of 42 stations in Telangana. Discussions included expansion of MMTS Phase-II to Yadadrigutta at a cost of Rs 400 million and fast-tracking of Komaravelli Mallanna station for devotees.
