Adani Group invested Rs 10,000 Crore generating over 7,000 jobs in last 3 years in Telangana: Karan Adani

Adani Ports and SEZ Limited Managing Director Karan Adani said on Monday that AdGroup has invested around Rs 10,000 billion in building government infrastructure and manufacturing facilities in Telangana in the last three years, contributing to employment generation of more than 7,000 people.

Karan Adani was speaking at the Telangana Emerging Global Summit 2025, the State government’s mega event led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and witnessed several A-list businessmen promising huge investments in the state.

Karan Adani said, “Over the last few years, Adani Group has built a strong and growing relationship with the state of Telangana. In line with our earlier commitments, we have initiated investments in sectors such as Defense manufacturing, Green Data Centres, Renewable energy projects and Cement manufacturing plants across the state.” he said.
Highlighting Adani Group’s action towards achieving the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat, he said Adani Group has developed a premier defense and aerospace park in Hyderabad.

“This state-of-the-art facility is the first UAV production facility in the country where long-lasting UAVs are produced. UAVs produced in this facility are supplied to both the Indian Armed Forces and appeal to global markets.”


“Today, it provides direct employment to more than 1,500 of the state’s youth and supports many more livelihoods thanks to its broader ecosystem,” he added.
In the field of digital infrastructure, he said Adani Group has set up a 48 MW green data center in Telangana with an investment of Rs 2,500 billion. Speaking more about capital infrastructure and logistics infrastructure, Karan Adani said, “With a total investment of Rs 4,000 crore in road infrastructure, Adani Group has constructed more than 100 Kms of highways connecting important districts like Mancherial, Suryapet, Kodad and Khammam.”

“These projects not only improve connectivity and logistics efficiency across the state, but also support the livelihoods of hundreds of families across the state.”

Additionally, Adani Cement said it is investing over Rs 2,000 billion to set up state-of-the-art cement manufacturing plants with a combined capacity of 7 MTPA at Ganeshpahad, Tandur and Devapur to support Telangana’s rapid infrastructure growth.

Telangana is hosting the two-day ‘Telangana Emerging Global Summit 2025’ in Hyderabad.

Global leaders, industry heads and experts will attend 27 sessions on key sectors such as energy, IT, healthcare and startups.

Important organizations such as WHO, World Bank, ADB and UNICEF will participate in the event.

Additionally, the State will also release the Telangana Emerging 2047 Vision Document, which targets a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
