Afghanistan earthquake: at least nine dead after 6.0 magnitude quake near Jalalabad | Afghanistan

An earthquake of 6.0 shook East Afghanistan near the Pakistan border and died of nine people and more injured.
The US Geology Survey said that the earthquake was shot at 23:47 on Sunday and centered 27 km northeast of Jalalabad city in Nangarhar. It was only 8 km deep. Shallows tend to cause further damage.
Information about the damage scale was not immediately available, but Nangahar’s Eastern Province Health department spokesman Ajmal Darwaish and nine dead people were injured, he said.
An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude occurred in the same state after 20 minutes.
On October 7, 2023, a 6.3 earthquake hit Afghanistan and then made strong aftershocks. The Taliban government estimated that at least 4,000 people were killed.
The UN gave a much lower transition of death of about 1,500. In recent memories, hitting Afghanistan was the most deadly natural disaster.
