The personal data of the Afghans brought to security in the United Kingdom were also violated in another Cyber Security incident.
The violation affecting 3,700 people includes Afghans brought to England within the scope of MOD’s re -settlement program for British troops and employees.
This number also includes people traveling for routine military exercises and official engagement.
Jet Center Ltd, a sub -contractor to a MOD supplier who provides space transportation services for flights at London Stansted Airport, was subjected to data loss. The event affects the contracts between the mode, jet center infly and cabinet office.
The latest leak comes after another disaster loss of data that exposes the 18,700 Afghan application to the British re -settlement plan. This violation made the details of a hidden evacuation plan to keep the details secret for about two years and the use of an unprecedented super junking.
A notification sent by the Afghan re -settlement team in the afternoon on Friday warned families that their personal information may have emerged.
“This may include passport details (including name, date of birth and passport number) and Afghan relocation and assistance policy (Arab) reference numbers,“ he said.
Afghan families, which are suitable for displacement, flew from Pakistan to England by Mode as part of the ongoing evacuation plan.
There is currently no evidence that any data is published on the public or dark web.
A government spokesman said: “A third-party subcontractor has recently experienced a cyber security incident with unauthorized access to a small number of e-mail containing basic personal information.
“We take data security extremely seriously and go beyond our legal duties in informing all individuals who are potentially affected.
“The incident did not pose any threat to the security of individuals or did not compromise on any government system.”
In a statement published to announce Jet Center’s website on August 10, the violation contained data from January and March 2024.
“We reported the incident to the Information Commissioner Office (ICO) and actively worked actively with the relevant British cyber officials, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) to support our investigation and response,” he said.
Jet Center Inflite said he believes that the loss of data is “limited to E -Post accounts only”.
However, the mode notification published on Friday said that more personal information has been violated for the “specific information is required by the ground -processing companies to leave flights and arrive.
The jet center was contacted for comment.
