Suspect with loaded gun in rucksack runs into crowded nightclub | News

London police, who stopped a man on suspicion of drink-driving, discovered that the man was armed with a loaded gun in his backpack as he tried to escape from a crowded nightclub.
Scotland Yard said Nathan Ingram, 29, of Ridley Road in Hackney, east London, was sentenced to five years in prison at Wood Green Crown Court after previously pleading guilty to possession of a firearm, ammunition and class A drugs.
The footage shows police chasing Ingram into the club, where an officer finds the firearm – a loaded Bernardelli 69 self-loading pistol.
The bag also contained a small amount of cocaine.
Ingram was sentenced Jan. 27, police said.
