BEML secures $36.38 million export order from Middle East region

Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based defense PSU BEML Ltd on Monday said it has received an export order worth US$ 36.38 million from the Gulf region.

In the statement made by the company, it was stated that the order requires the supply of heavy earthmoving equipment.

This heavy earthmoving equipment, traditionally used in large-scale mining operations, has now been repurposed for infrastructure development applications, according to BEML.

“The heavy equipment platforms are designed for high-intensity reconstruction and strategic infrastructure development, incorporating critical performance and survivability improvements to meet stringent global standards,” the statement said. The statement was included.


Stating that the project is also expected to include a comprehensive maintenance and life cycle support contract, the company added that within the scope of this arrangement, it will provide high operational availability and readiness through end-to-end support, including spare parts, maintenance, service and life cycle management, in cooperation with BEML’s local representative.
