Drone footage shows devastating flooding in Monmouth, where a major incident was declared following Storm Claudia on Saturday, November 15.

High winds and rain lashed England during the storm’s onslaught, while flooding in parts of Wales posed a “serious risk to life”.

South Wales Fire and Rescue declared a major incident and urged the public to avoid the area altogether. The service’s regional manager, Matt Jones, said the flooding was serious and roads needed to be kept open so emergency services could reach those who needed it most.
