Federal minister, after seeing a withdrawal of thousands of packages stand out, the number of old Australians waiting for the elderly care, he says is very high.
Federal government, the coalition and Crossbench’s political pressure following the emergence of 20,000 home care packages.
While the places will start from November, they will now be released between September and October.
Old Care Minister Sam Rae rejected the original delay due to the pressure of the budget, but he said he expects too many Australian help.

He continued: “The issue is that the number is more than my perspective. This reform program is so important.”
Elderly maintenance reforms were expected to be released from July, but it was delayed until November after being concerned about the sector.
However, Mr. Rae said he was sure that the previous version of 20,000 home places could face.
“Now they told us that they believe they could rise to the difficulty of making additional demand last week, especially last week.” He said.
He continued: “We made a two -sided agreement with the opposition (presented to the previous use) and that was our announcement.”
As part of the timeline of the home care package, the remaining 43,000 places will be launched in the first half of 2026.
