Jackson police share details of July 4 murders
Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade gave more details about the last murder investigations of the two people who left two people to death.
The murder victims in separate shots were 45 -year -old Adriion Triggs and Gabriel King 23. Triggs died in 1100 blocks of Ame Logan Street on Friday, July 4th. King died in 900 blocks of Cooper Road on Friday, July 4th.
“Four July must be a time when we come together and encourage each other. We should not come together and not have situations where people lose their lives.” He said.
Clarion Ledger’s records on Monday, the city recorded 40 murders this year, and the Jackson police 33 cases and Capitol police led seven. During this time last year there were 64 murders, Jackson police 62 and Capitol police investigated twice.
“We have reduced this number by almost half, but we still have 33 families who are ruined and destroyed due to the loss of their loved ones.” He said.

Murder 32: Adriione Triggs
Police said Triggs died in a local hospital after a shooting in 1100 blocks of Ame Logan Street at 16:14 on Friday.
Wade said Triggs’s girlfriend was attending a discussion with 35 -year -old Aziza Young. Young said Triggs as “7W77D” before escaping from Triggs’s 2009 White Honda Accord.
The Wade described the event as “calculated”, explained that Young was trying to move Triggs by dragging Triggs’s body and trying to place it in the trunk of a vehicle.
Wade said that now Young is defending himself. According to Wade, witnesses saw that the incident emerged.

Wade said the police have been looking for Young for the last three days. Young is sought in charges of murder and auto theft.
Wade, “My heart, my prayers and condolences go to the Trojans family.” He said. “We are working hard to bring him to justice, and in this case to just justice and closure.”
Murder 33: Gabriel King
Police said King died on Friday at 21:50 on Friday at 21:50, a gas station in Southern Jackson, near the 900 blocks of a gas station.
On Saturday, July 5, four suspects were arrested in relation to this case. Police said that three of the suspects were accused of 17-year-old Cameron Russell, 17-year-old Justin Taylor and 17-year-old Jaquavion Clark. The fourth suspect, 24 -year -old Daniel Taylor, was accused of accessory after the truth.
According to Wade, one of the arrested individuals knew the King. Wade, referring to the acquaintance of a woman who caused shooting, refers to a kind of “ongoing situation or dialogue or beef”, he said.

Wade said the police would not ignore additional arrests in the case.
