Unions demand pension for auto drivers hit by free bus ride scheme in A.P.

The members of the various automobile workers of the left parties criticized the government for implementing a free bus driving plan for women without dealing with their concerns and fulfilling their promises during the elections.

Telugu Nadu Union Council leaders said that leaders from different automobile workers unions will try to organize a meeting. The leaders of the automatic unions said that if the meeting is postponed for a long time, there would be no choice but to organize protests throughout the state.

All trade unions decided to meet on 28 August to formulate the future action style depending on the government’s reaction.

All India Road Transport workers’ Federation, AP Telugu Nadu Drivers and Owners Association, Vijayawadada Automobile Owners and Drivers Association and others from others attended.
