Asia-Pacific markets rose on Tuesday after Wall Street gained thanks to resurgent AI optimism and rising hopes that the U.S. government shutdown will end soon.

In America on Monday, Nvidia Its shares led gains in the S&P 500, rising 5.8%. Other tech stocks also rose, including Google’s parent company AlphabetIt increased by 4% and MicrosoftIt ended its eight-day losing streak with an increase of 1.9%.

Japan’s reference point Nikkei 225 index increased by 0.91%, while the Topix index increased by 0.52%. AI-related stocks were among the biggest risers; holding company SoftBank was up 3.57% and chipmaker Renesas Electron was up 4.35%.
