Gold medal winner Ian Thorpe joins celebrations at school that honours his legacy
Thorpe, Sydney 2000 Gold Medal Kerri PTTHARST (Beach Volleyball), Sprinter Melinda Gainsford-Taylor and Canoe Sprint duo Dan and Jackson Collins-Kendi Olympic medals.

Gowsford-Taylor added: “There were 110,000 people in the athletics stadium. I was nervous, but I was there by my third Olympics and I did it. It was only the most wonderful time.
“Everyone in Sydney was happy. There was no traffic, that was quite surprising. It was just an incredible experience.”
