AIIMS Launches Biplane Cath Lab in Cardiology Department

Vijayawada: The Cardiology Department of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences has launched new services of the seventh generation two -wing Cath laboratory in Mangalagiri on Saturday and the treadmill test machine.

Prof. Dr. AIIMS Executive Director and CEO. Ahanthem Santa Singh opened two services. Azurion Biplane Cath Lab system, an interventional imaging platform with the latest technology, will significantly increase heart care for EP and neighboring states, neurovascular interventions and complex endovascular procedures.

AIIMS is determined to offer the newest health technology to the EP to reduce patients’ need to travel long distances for high -level cardiac and neurovascular procedures.

AIIMS also established a state -of -the -art treadmill test machine, and this non -invasive vehicle plays an important role in early detection of coronary artery disease and evaluating cardiac fitness and exercise tolerance.

According to a release from AIIMS, a complex of a Badminton court with four courts was opened.
