Last minute Air India ticket from Hyderabad to Bhopal touched ₹ 1.3 lakh on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, as widespread IndiGo cancellations at the Hyderabad airport pushed passengers to the few flights still operating on schedule and pushed fares sharply up on several domestic routes.

The high fares surfaced on the late-night Air India service via Mumbai and Delhi. The price for the journey, which is scheduled to take around nine hours and arrive in Bhopal on Thursday morning, is listed at ₹1.03 lakh for economy, slightly higher for premium economy and ₹1.3 lakh for a business class seat. The airline’s website also showed that there was only one seat left at that fare. As there was no direct service to Bhopal for the day, the cheapest alternative was a one-stop option with a total travel time of around 12 hours and priced at ₹12,599.

The sudden rise comes after the cancellation of several IndiGo services operating between Hyderabad and major cities such as Delhi, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam and Bhopal. A review of airline websites and travel portals showed a sharp increase in fares, especially for limited flights operated by Air India, the only other carrier from Hyderabad with an extensive network of destinations.

Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam flight ticket prices

Air India had only one flight on the Visakhapatnam route; It was a two-stop service via Mumbai and Bangalore and the total travel time was approximately nine hours. The economy fare was listed as ₹69,787. The lowest fare for Bhubaneshwar was ₹27,417 for a nine-hour one-stop journey, while the most expensive option was ₹49,413 for a 13-hour one-stop journey.

Hyderabad to Delhi fares

Delhi-bound passengers faced fares ranging from ₹12,894 for a non-stop flight to ₹29,524 for the most expensive non-stop option. In the Mumbai sector, the cheapest ticket available was 32,095 Indian rupees for a 12-hour two-stop service, while a five-hour single-stop flight was priced at 59,482 Indian rupees. Another one-stop option on the same route went for ₹70,329.

Passengers already dealing with cancellations and uncertainty were faced with limited and often exorbitantly priced alternatives as the disruption continued throughout the day.
