Air India probe finds no issues with fuel control switches on Boeing 787s, NDTV says
Indian publisher NDTV referred to an official on Wednesday and said that Indian publisher NDTV has completed the examination of fuel control switches on the Boeing 787 aircraft.
Boeing and Air India did not immediately respond to Reuters’ requests for comments. Reuters could not confirm the NDTV report immediately.
On Monday, India ordered the airlines to examine the fuel switches on a few Boeing aircraft models, and South Korea ordered a similar measure on Tuesday, because a deadly Air India accident that killed 260 people last month was examined from the locks of the fuel key at the center of an investigation.
The General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India, said that several Indian and international airlines had released an order to investigate locks in various Boeing models, including 787 and 737, after starting to inspect their fuel keys.
A preliminary report last week found that the keys returned from the running position shortly after the departure.
According to the world’s most deadly aviation accident report in the decade, Boeing Dreamliner, a London of the Indian city Ahmedabad, began to lose the push and sink shortly after taking off.
