Airlines are waiving flight change fees and fare differences for more than a dozen airports in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S. ahead of a major coastal storm.

The National Weather Service issued flood and high wind warnings for much of the region from Sunday through Monday evening.

American Airlines It waived fare differences and change fees for customers booking on Sunday, which included airports from Portland, Maine, to Newport News, Virginia, if they could travel later in the week.

Southwest Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, JetBlue Airlines and others implemented similarly flexible travel policies ahead of the storm.

Delays and cancellations were minimal as of Saturday afternoon on Sunday, according to FlightAware.
