Akasa Air picks Hyderabad’s GMR Aero Technic for base maintenance of its Boeing 737 MAX fleet

GMR Aero Technic, a leading body care, repair and revision (MRO) organization, made a three -year agreement with Akasa Air to provide basic maintenance services for the Airline’s Boeing 737 Max fleet.
In accordance with the agreement, GMR Aero Technic will perform planned mainly known as ‘C checks’ at Hyderabad’s MRO facility in GMR Aviation and Industrial Park in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
The partnership takes an important step for both organizations. Akasa Air strengthens its commitment to fleet security, reliability and operational productivity, while GMR Aero Technic continues to reinforce its position as a reliable Mro provider for India’s expanding aviation sector.
Belson Coutinho, the founding partner and chief business officer of Aksa Air, said, “As it is quickly scaled, it is compatible with the GMR Aero Technic in accordance with our Conservation commitment, since this cooperation is inadequate.
