Meghan Markle ‘testing the waters’ as she seeks major TV comeback | Royal | News

This was met with mixed reactions: while many were excited to see the duchess on their TV screens, others vowed not to watch. The upcoming new series will start very soon.

Speaking to OLBGCelebrity PR Expert Kayley Cornelius said: “There’s a strong feeling he might want to return to the world of mainstream celebrity culture as well as TV, and this latest move on MasterChef looks very much like he’s ‘testing the waters’ to gauge audience appetite for a full-scale return.”

“An appearance on one of Australia’s biggest TV shows will truly be a make-or-break moment for his Aussie career and will determine whether he has something scalable across the pond.

“If this comeback is successful and establishes that connection with audiences, it puts him in a much stronger position with casting producers.

“A return to bigger on-screen roles is out of the question after this, and with the right momentum, this could be the start of a new chapter that will reshape both her public image and career trajectory.”

Before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan Markle was no stranger to the TV world, as she was a long-running cast member on the hit series Suits.

When asked about giving up acting to marry a prince in her engagement interview, Meghan said: “I don’t see it as giving up anything, I just see it as a change. It’s a new challenge.”

“Also keep in mind that I have been working on my show for seven years.”
