Princess Lilibet looks all grown up in new pics as Meghan Markle shares emotional message | Royal | News

Princess Lilibet looked all grown up in her mother Meghan Markle’s latest post on social media. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram account on Saturday to celebrate International Girl’s Day with a sweet tribute to her four-year-old daughter.

In the post, Lilibet can be seen running around her garden in a short clip, while in another shot she can be seen posing with her mother outside, holding hands. Meghan wrote in her post: “To all the girls, this world is yours. Do what you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It is your right and our responsibility. Go get ’em girl!” [runnning emoji] Happy International Day of the Girl Child.”

It comes after a busy few days for the Duchess of Sussex, who was spotted in New York to attend two very special events with husband Prince Harry on Thursday and Friday.

On Thursday, Harry and Meghan attended the Healthy Minds Project Gala, where they received an award for their humanitarian work.

The Duke warned that the impact of social media on children is “one of the most pressing issues of our time”.

Stating that 4,000 families have initiated legal action through the Social Media Victims Law Center, the Duke said more needs to be done to protect young people from online dangers.

He said: “Tonight, we are all here to focus on what remains one of the most pressing issues of our time.”

Meghan added that the couple often discuss how they will protect their own children, six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet, as they grow up.

She said: “Like many parents, we are constantly thinking about how to embrace the benefits of technology while protecting ourselves against its dangers.”

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess attended the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival.

Meanwhile, the couple’s Archewell Foundation announced that its Parents Network initiative has joined forces with ParentsTogether, a nonprofit organization dedicated to family advocacy and online safety.
