Alan Carr claims he is ‘the most hated man in the UK’ and flees to the US ahead of the Celebrity Traitors finale

Alan Carr claimed he was the ‘most hated man in the UK’ and fled to the United States ahead of the Celebrity Traitors finale.
The 49-year-old comedian is one of two remaining Traitors ahead of Thursday’s finale but revealed he flew to Orlando to escape the heat from fans and other celebrities.
Speaking at the pop-up studios of Heart radio hosts Olly Murs and Mark Wright, Alan admitted ‘everyone hated him’ and he needed to get away.
‘I’m the most hated man in the UK, I had to come here to Orlando to escape that. Everybody hates me,’ Alan joked.
‘I just needed to escape because there are stressful murders every day. ‘My Christmas card list is getting smaller and smaller.’
Olly then suggested Alan go to the Harry Potter world at Universal Studios theme park to buy a Hogwarts cape for his Halloween costume.

‘Have you got your Speedos for Volcano Bay? Anyway, I saw YouTube. “I can wear these under my cape,” he joked.
“Their cloaks are quite similar to those of the Traitors,” Mark added.
Alan then tagged along, saying he could ride Universal’s famous water slide at Volcano Bay while wearing a cape and carrying the Traitors’ iconic lantern.
Alan joked, ‘I came here for a break,’ and then laughed and said, ‘Oh Alan, you’re taking a day off,’ pretending it was the public criticizing him for talking about being a traitor.
And that’s not the only obstacle he had to face, he also had to make amends with Paloma Faith after she killed him in plain sight.
After dramatically ‘killing’ Paloma Faith on Celebrity Traitors, she has broken her silence on their feud, revealing that she is no longer friends with Paloma Faith.
The 44-year-old pregnant singer admitted she was furious about being the first victim of the BBC programme, as she described her real-life tensions.
Alan, who stars in the series as the Traitor alongside the now-exiled Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, admitted he is now desperate to make amends with Paloma.

Speaking to DJ Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, on the Life’s A Beach podcast he said: ‘I kill people willy-nilly – I have a real taste for it. I killed Paloma Faith. He’s not happy about it.’
Norman: ‘Aren’t you Paloma’s friend?’ ‘ Alan replied, ‘I…’
The host said Paloma made it clear to him that she was hurt by his betrayal on the show.
He explained: ‘He said, ‘If you were a real friend you wouldn’t kill me.’ But I said, “I Am Traitor! The name of the show is Traitors – it does what it says on the tin.”
‘There were a few little TikTok-style incidents where he said I disappointed him because I killed him in front of him.’
Alan emphasized that despite the reaction of the fans, he was just playing the game and panicked at that moment.
She added: ‘Is this like going to Naked Attraction and being told I have to take my knickers off? You know what you signed up for!’
Explaining his decision to ‘kill’ Paloma’s face by dabbing it with pollen from a fake poison lily, as per the rules, she joked: ‘I can’t start caressing Stephen Fry’s and Celia Imrie’s face – not at my age!’ ‘I look scary even like this.’
Alan revealed he is now desperate to make amends with the One Love Can Hurt This Much hitmaker.
‘I’ll take him to dinner,’ he said. ‘I love him. I’m a huge fan of his and he’s the best, but no one wants to be killed off first on a show. ‘I panicked.’
