Alan Ritchson drama continues as neighbor he punched breaks silence after police decided against charging actor

Ronnie Taylor, the neighbor Alan Ritchson allegedly punched, broke his silence after police decided not to press charges against the actor.

In an interview with TMZRonnie Taylor said he decided not to take legal action against Ritchson because he did not want to take the matter further.

‘I was just concerned about the safety of my neighborhood because he was racing in that neighborhood,’ Taylor, 56, said.

Taylor also claimed that there was no financial arrangement between them and that she did not receive ‘a dime’ for the mess.

Taylor said she didn’t even seek legal representation: ‘He’s a Hollywood superstar and I’m not. They have lawyers. ‘I didn’t even practice law.’

Taylor also claimed he learned that police concluded Ritchson had acted in self-defense only after deciding not to press charges.

‘The police told me that me standing in front of him and his bike was enough to claim self-defence.’

‘I never attacked this man. I pushed him; That’s all I did. I think it also has something to do with self-defense.’

The Daily Mail contacted Ritchson’s representatives for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

The fight with Ritchson’s neighbor occurred Sunday in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood, Tennessee.

The Reacher actor was seen beating Taylor after being confronted on his loud motorbike in the shocking video.

Clips of the incident went viral online, with fans tending to side with Ritchson, as her neighbor was the one who started the physical fight when she pushed the actor off his motorcycle, as seen in body camera video shot by the actor.

Local police concluded on Tuesday that the star had acted in self-defense and did not charge him.

The police investigation was later closed.

On Tuesday, police announced to the Daily Mail that they would not be charging the Reacher actor over the altercation with his neighbor Taylor on Sunday.

Officers in charge of the case said the Hollywood star acted in self-defense by punching his neighbor and then told him to back off.

Taylor also claimed that no financial settlement took place between him and Ritcher after the fight.

That’s likely because a new body camera video shot by Ritchson and shared on TikTok shows Taylor starting a physical fight with Ritchson as she pushed the actor off his Kawasaki motorcycle after he ran into the street.

The star was with her two children when the incident occurred in the afternoon.

Brentwood Police Department told the Daily Mail on Tuesday: ‘The Brentwood Police Department, in coordination with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office, has completed its investigation into the incident involving Alan Ritchson and Ronnie Taylor in Brentwood, TN on March 22.

After reviewing the available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges would be filed.

‘Mr. Ritchson’s actions were determined to be in self-defense. Although a possible reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges.

‘With the approval of the District Attorney’s Office, the case is now closed and no further action will be taken.’

Footage from the body camera provides a broader view of what actually happened between the two men before the fight turned bloody.

A visibly angry Taylor was filmed approaching Ritchson, 43, and her two young children as they rode their motorbike down a suburban street.

Taylor is then seen leaving the property, crossing a sidewalk and walking into the middle of the street, where the Hollywood actor is riding his green Kawasaki bike.

At one point, Taylor allegedly stepped in front of the star’s motorbike to block it from advancing down the street by aggressively spreading her legs.

This seemed to anger Ritchson, who then abandoned his motorcycle and approached Taylor.

In the tense clip, Taylor can be heard berating Ritchson for riding his bike ‘like a madman’ while voicing concerns about other kids in the neighbourhood.

The actor later told his neighbor that he was ‘out of his mind’ and asked if he had been drinking; He also showed body camera video.

Ritchson then told Taylor he had to ‘run over’ his neighbor with his motorbike when he came out into the street.

The star then grabs his motorbike, gets on it, puts his helmet back on and starts the engine repeatedly, which seems to infuriate Taylor.
