China’s Xi and India’s Modi vow to resolve border fight

Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to solve border differences and support cooperation at a regional summit in China’s port city Tianjin.

After China and Indian troops dealt with deadly border conflicts in 2020, Modi has been in his first visit to China since relations between the two countries worsened.

Modi visits India as part of his membership to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the regional political, economic and security group of China.
