“I can’t believe I’m saying this, I still feel like a kid. He’s an incredible player, he pushed me so hard today. I’m so happy to win… he played incredible tennis, he pushed me so hard.”
Speaking about her incredible tiebreak record, Sabalenka has achieved a record 20 consecutive wins at grand slam level and said she is not sure what the secret to her success is.
“I just go into tiebreaks, I try not to think of it as a tiebreak, I play point by point and I think that’s the key to consistency.”
