All Aldi stores to close for three days – here’s when | UK | News
Since the popular supermarket chain announced its working days during Christmas holidays, all Aldi stores will be closed for three days. England’s fourth largest supermarket announced his decision on Wednesday to give his colleagues the chance to spend time with his friends and families.
The supermarket chain has more than 1,050 stores throughout the country. According to the authorities, all the stores in the UK will be closed for Christmas day and will be reopened on Saturday, December 27, 2025 as usual. The stores will also be closed as usual and will be reopened once again on Friday, January 2, 2026. The opening times of the stores will change with many branches that provide more flexibility to prepare for festivals.
Aldi UK Communication Director Rebecca Hey said: “Christmas has been a special time and we want all our colleagues to have the opportunity to relax and enjoy with their loved ones. So all Aldi stores will be closed on the boxing day this year.
“We know how our colleagues work to offer an incredible Christmas for our customers, and this is a small way to thank you.”
The household bargains recently announced the closing days of the festival period. Popular bargaining retailer will be closed on Friday, September 5, Thursday, December 25, Boxing Day, Friday, December 26, and on Thursday, January 1st.
Bargaining retailer B&M confirmed that UK stores will close for a day. They will close their stores on December 25, Christmas Day, but they will soon reopen.
Sinsbury’s also confirmed that all stores will remain closed for a day. Online mirror.
Bir Sinsbury’s spokesman said: “The majority of supermarkets and markets will be open between 18-23 December between 6: 00-19: 00. Supermarkets will be open between 06: 00-17: 00 and the markets will be open from 6 to 9 pm. All stores will be closed on Christmas Day.”
This year, the Christmas beef will follow on Wednesday, December 24, on Thursday, December 25th. Boxing day on Friday, December 26th. The New Year’s Arafi will be on Wednesday, December 31st. New Year’s Eve will fall on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
