All Arrangements In Place For Intermediate Examinations In Nizamabad

NIZAMABAD: All arrangements for the 2025-26 academic year annual midterm exams, which are planned to start on February 25, have been completed in the district.
Authorities said that 58 exam centers were established throughout the district and Article 144 was implemented in all centers. Question papers are kept securely at police stations located near the relevant examination centres.
Exams will be held under CCTV surveillance to prevent malpractice. Officials of the District High Power Committee and the District Inspection Monitoring Committee, as well as three flight teams and four sitting teams, will constantly inspect and supervise the centers.
Ila Tripathi reviewed the arrangements made with officials from revenue, electricity, RTC, post, medical and health, panchayat raj and municipal departments to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. In addition, orders were given to chief inspectors and department officials to complete all preparatory work.
A total of 36,963 students, including 19,299 first-year students and 17,664 second-year students, will participate in the exams. Among first-year students, 16,336 are from the general class and 2,963 are from the vocational class. Of the second-year students, 14,893 are general and 2,771 are vocational.
District Secondary Education Officer Tirumalapudi Ravikumar said that if private university managements create difficulties in issuing hall tickets, students can download them from the internet and attend the exams, adding that the principal’s signature is not mandatory.
He said that RTC officials were asked to operate the buses in accordance with the exam hours, and students were advised to arrive at the centers at least half an hour early. Electricity authorities have been instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply and police and revenue officials have been asked to close photocopy centers near examination venues.
Officials said that all precautions were taken to ensure that students could take the exams peacefully and without pressure.
