All Major Dams in Himachal Within Safe Operational Limits, Confirms SDMA

Shimla: Among the ongoing monsoon activity throughout Himachal Pradesh, the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) confirmed that all major dams in the state operate within the permissible security limits.
According to the official daily dam status bulletin published on 30 July at 17:00, none of the watched dams exceeded full reservoir levels (FRL) or high flood levels (HFL) thresholds.
Satluj, Ravi, Beas and Yamuna compiled from basins, the report is under control of the water inlets and full -winged -the -water discharge and machine streams are arranged according to security protocols. Important reservoirs such as Bhakra, Pong, Nathpa Jhakri, Kol Dam and Chamera-ı maintain safe reservoir levels despite the high entrances due to the latest rainfall.

In the latest daily landslide monitoring bulletin on July 30, Seoc, “Mandi, Kangra, Shimla and Solan regions of 22 watched areas, 18 locations reported low activity, only four sites, moderate landslide levels are recorded. All locations are currently ‘work’, ie stable but observation.”
