All post office locations to close, mail won’t be delivered

Valentine’s Day isn’t the only holiday this month.
The U.S. Postal Service has issued an alert saying it will celebrate Presidents Day on Monday, February 16. All Post Office locations will be closed.
Regular mail delivery and retail services will resume on Tuesday, February 17.
Customers are reminded that while Post Offices are closed, they can still access many postal products and services through usps.com and self-service kiosks located in select lobbies nationwide. Many self-service kiosks are available 24/7 and have the following features:

Postage printing for Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express and international shipping

Ability to weigh and mail packages

Package tracking information
Other locations may include:

Express Delivery Stations for customers who have previously created and printed labels online

Option for customers to print shipping labels from merchant-provided QR code

USPS Smart Lockers This allows customers to both drop off and pick up packages.
Presidents’ Day is a United States federal holiday that honors American presidents, especially George Washington, since the holiday began on February 22, his birthday. Today, he widely recognizes past and present U.S. presidents.
The holiday became known for large retail sales, especially on items such as cars, furniture and bedding.
