But if the regime survives, which it may do, then Washington’s triple demands on Tehran will be on the agenda again: a halt to Iran’s dubious nuclear program, including a return to inspections; ending Iran’s ballistic missile program; and ending Iran’s support for proxy militias in the region such as Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis.
