Allison Janney won’t reveal which former co-star she’d refuse to work with again

Allison Janney kept her lips sealed when talking about her former co-stars.
The 65-year-old actor recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live!” show, the 65-year-old actor answered a few questionable questions while playing the “Agree or Disagree” game with his co-star and fellow guest Keri Russell.
As part of the game, host Andy Cohen asks a question, and based on their answers, guests will hold up a sign that says agree or disagree. When Cohen asked if he had a former co-star, they both held up a “refuse to work together” sign. He then said they would get “extra points” if they named the celebrity.
“Mine isn’t with us anymore, so I really can’t; I couldn’t work with them again even if I really wanted to,” Janney said, before being encouraged by Russell and Cohen to reveal who the actor was. “No, I’m not saying that. I’m not going to be lulled into a false sense of security in this tiny little club.”

Russell then reminded him of his mother’s rule when it came to “talking”[ing] “My mom would say, ‘In the car, windows open, out in the driveway,'” Janney shared.
Janney and Russell star together in the Netflix drama “The Diplomat.” In the series, Janney plays Grace Penn, the fictional president of the United States, and Russell plays the US ambassador to the United Kingdom.

This season introduced actor Bradley Whitford as Janney’s character’s husband. Fans were excited to see the actor on the show because he and Janney starred alongside each other on the hit series “The West Wing.”

talking with people magazineJanney said it was “very easy and comfortable” to work with Whitford again because of their history together.
“I think it would have been harder with someone I didn’t know. It was surprisingly easy and really fun,” he explained. “I’m so excited for everyone on ‘The Diplomat’ to meet Brad and experience everything Brad is; it’s amazing, joyful and fair; he’s a dream.”
During her time on “The West Wing,” Janney won four Emmy Awards for her portrayal of White House press secretary CJ Cregg. She bagged four more for roles in “Masters of Sex” and the sitcom “Mom.”
She later won her first and only Academy Award in 2018 for her supporting role in “I, Tonya,” which told the true story behind the infamous incident involving Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan. The film focused mainly on Harding, her past, and her role in the attack on Kerrigan; Janney played her mother, LaVona.

“He saw endorsement deals, he saw escape. He went through a lot in this relationship with his daughter, and he wanted his daughter to get him out of the trailer park.”
