The company is expected to announce updates to its Gemini models and other artificial intelligence products, and potentially unveil a smart glasses model.
In December, Google announced that it would release its first AI glasses in 2026. Smart glasses have seen a surge in popularity with the success of Meta’s Ray-Bans and other models.
Ray-Ban maker EssilorLuxottica Meta AI said that glasses sales have more than tripled in 2025, with over 7 million units sold.
At Google I/O 2025, the company announced its smart glasses partnership with Warby Parker.
