Alton Towers evacuates section of park after fire breaks out

After a fire in the toilet, a part of Alton Towers was evacuated.
Blaze started at 15:00 in the Prohibited Valley of the Staffordshire Tema Park and the Staffordshire Fire Department sent two crews to the scene.
As a result, attraction bosses evacuated the area.
Alton Towers Resort Spokesman said: “Today, a small fire was discovered by a colleague at a toilet facility in the forbidden valley area of the facility.
“Our team rapidly gave fire and as a precaution, we temporarily evacuated the region when determining the cause.

Guests in the Tema Park on social media, the fire to leave the park to leave the traffic chaos, he said.
A Staffordshire Fire Department and Rescue Service Spokesman said the fire is in an electric extractor fan.
They said: “Today (Monday, August 11), we were called to Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire after a small fire reports.
“Two crews were sent to the scene. Before our arrival, a fire was removed by a holiday personnel in an electric extractor fan.
“No injury was reported.
“One toilet was damaged and the other was Duman Loged as a result of a fire. The crew took the region and used vehicles to stop the spread of the fire.”
Firefighters left at 16.30 shortly before the attraction room.
